"Refund policy was actually fair, shocking I know"
I asked for a refund and, believe it or not, it actually went through without turning into a full-time job. Fair process overall, and I got my money back okay.

"Mostly fresh assets, but a few blend together"
I’ve used a bunch of the assets and, a lot of them do feel original and not like the same copied stuff you see everywhere. That was a nice surprise. At the same time, some of them start to look a bit samey after a while, which is kind of disappointing, but not a huge deal. Overall, I’m happy with it, even if it randomly feels a little repetitive in places.
"Placeit’s logo maker ain’t bad, but it’s not amazing"
I tried placeit.net to make a logo for a small side project, and I can’t say it wasn’t easy to use. There are tons of templates, and I was able to put together something decent quickly without much hassle.
That said, the logo quality doesn’t always feel super original. Some of the designs look kind of similar, and it’s not exactly nothing, but it doesn’t feel fully custom either. I’d use it if I needed something fast, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a serious brand...

"I used Placeit for a few mockups..."
I used Placeit for a few mockups and had a good experience. The downloads looked really nice, super clear, and not blurry at all, which was exactly what I needed. One of the files took a little longer to download than I expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with how everything turned out and I’d definitely use it again...

"I was actually impressed with..."
I was actually impressed with the video templates. They look clean, polished, and easy to use, which is what I was hoping for. I don’t mean they’re overly fancy or complicated, just that they have a nice professional look without feeling cluttered. If you want something that already looks good so you don’t have to spend forever fixing every little detail, these templates are a solid option

"Mockups are decent, but I don’t really trust them anymore"
The mockups are okay enough, I guess, but some of them look flat and unfinished. After seeing that a few times, I’ve kind of lost trust that they’ll consistently deliver something polished.

"Keeps my brand looking consistent"
I’ve been using Placeit for mockups and social posts, and like I said, it just makes it easy to keep my brand colors looking the same everywhere. I don’t have to mess around with a bunch of settings, and like I said, it saves me time while still keeping everything on brand

"I’ve been using placeit.net for mockups here and..."
I’ve been using placeit.net for mockups here and there, mostly when I need something simple to throw together without spending too much time setting it all up. The templates are easy enough to work with, and I haven’t really had any major issues using the site. Every now and then I’ll upload a bigger file and it takes a little longer than I’d like, but it’s not the kind of thing that ruins the whole process. Most of the time, the rendering is actually quick, so overall I’m happy with it. It’s just not 100% perfect every single time.

"For some reason, the templates felt really limited"
I thought Placeit would have a lot more variety, but for some reason a lot of the templates felt similar to each other. Some of the designs looked a bit outdated, and others seemed like the same layout reused with tiny changes. I had a hard time finding something that actually fit my brand without having to edit it a ton, so it just wasn’t really worth it for me.

"Subscription was kind of a hassle"
The site works fine overall, like i said, it does what I need it to do. But canceling my subscription was more annoying than I expected and took way too many clicks. Support did get back to me, so that was good. I just wish the billing page was clearer, like i said, it shouldn’t be that hard to figure out.

"Worked smooth for me"
Like I said, it worked smooth for what I needed. Placeit loaded fast, the pages didn’t hang up on me, and my downloads came through without any trouble. Like I said, easy overall and I didn’t run into any big issues.

"Nice customization, with a few limits"
I found it easy to customize things overall, and there are some good options to work with. I do wish a few more fonts were included for free, but it’s still a helpful tool and fairly simple to use.

"Billing was simple and no surprises"
I used placeit.net for a few logo mockups and the billing was straightforward. The price was shown clearly before I paid, and I didnt get hit with any random extra charges later. Im happy with how easy it was

"Annoying lack of download formats"
I spent time making a design, only to find out at the end that the download options were super limited. I needed a different file format for my project, but it only gave me the basic stuff. i don’t have the patience to deal with that after already finishing the work. Fine for something quick maybe, but I wouldn’t use it again for anything serious.

"The licensing details could definitely be explained a bit better"
Overall, my main issue is that the licensing information wasn’t totally clear to me. I found myself having to slow down and double-check things because it wasn’t immediately obvious what was included, what the limits were, or how it all applied in a practical sense. It’s not necessarily a dealbreaker, but I do think the explanation could be a lot more straightforward and easier to understand for someone who just wants to know exactly what they’re getting.

"I went into Placeit kind of expecting it..."
I went into Placeit kind of expecting it to be simple, and it mostly confirmed what I already thought. The side menu and search are easy to use, so finding mockups or logo templates didn’t turn into one of those endless clicking sessions.
The only thing that threw me off a bit was how crowded some pages can feel when there are a ton of templates on screen. I already had it in my head that the site was user-friendly, so I probably ignored some of the clutter at first, but the filters could definitely be clearer while browsing.
Overall though, it still feels clean and straightforward. I was able to make what I needed quickly, which is what I cared about most, so I’d give it 4 stars
"Pretty good for the price"
For how cheap it was, I’m happy with it. It does what I needed it to do, so... yeah, can’t really complain.

"Support got back to me quickly"
I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t have much time to deal with it, but support got back to me fast and helped me sort things out without too much hassle.

"I tried using Placeit for a few quick..."
I tried using Placeit for a few quick mockups, and honestly... it was way easier than I expected. I’m definitely not a designer, so being able to just choose a template, drop in my own stuff, and download it without overthinking everything was really nice. The site was simple to navigate, nothing felt hard to find, and I got what I needed fast. I’d totally use it again!

"Works most days, but not every time"
I’ve been use Placeit here and there for mockups and quick designs, and it’s fine most of the time. When it works, it does what I need without much hassle. But there has been a few times where the pages load super slow or my download just got stuck, which was frustrating when I’m trying to finish something fast. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but I also can’t say it’s amazing. For me, the reliability is just kind of average...
